What is RAMP?

Responsible Alcohol Management Program

Pennsylvania has taken a strong initiative by starting the Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP), which has been specifically designed to service operators of Pennsylvania in order to to maintain a higher level of standards and safety proceedure involved in selling, serving, and consuming alcohol.

The RAMP program, designed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, was created to help licensed vendors and their employees learn how to handle and serve alcohol in a responsible and professional manner.

The Pennsylvania RAMP alcohol training program will teach you methods to detect the beginnings of intoxication and impairment, detect underage drinkers and learn how to keep them out of your establishment, how to inspect IDs properly and how to minimize problems that may arise from the consumption of alcohol.

Getting your Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) certification, you will not only become much more knowledgeable in dealing with and handling alcohol in your business, but you will also learn many things about alcohol and consumption that will help you in your personal life.
