The Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training (BASSET) program is the state of Illinois' seller/server training program. The program is an educational and training tool to sellers/servers of alcoholic beverages to serve responsibly and stay within the law. The BASSET Program serves as a preventive measure to discourage over consumption and keep drunk drivers off the roads.

Additional Information
Getting certified with the Illinois Liquor Control Commission through our web-based alcohol safety training course takes about 5 hours to complete.
Illinois Liquor Control Commission requires an individual taking a Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training (BASSET) program to complete the online course in one 6-hour sitting.
You will have 2 attempts to pass the final exam and you must score 70% to pass. If you don't, you'll have to take the course over again (free of charge). But don't worry, you'll do just fine.
BASSET instructors are available (Mon-Fri / 9am to 5pm CST) to help you with course content or certification matters.
If you loose your BASSET certificate, call us and we will email you your temporary certificate for proof.
